Metrocheck Redemption Process |

| GWRideConnect processes and redeems metrocheks for vanpools that originate from the Fredericksburg Region. This region consists of the counties of King George, Caroline, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg. GWRideConnect is contracted with METRO to redeem metrocheks. |

The following guidelines will assist you in redeeming your metrocheks with us. If you have any questions please call us at 540-373-7665.
- Please fill out Metrochek Form completely on both sides and return with metrocheks to be processed as soon as you receive them from your riders. Remember to sign your form. Please let us know if you would like us to mail your check or if you would like to pick it up.
- All metrocheks should have a neatly printed passenger name on the back.
- Do not accept metrocheks that have been used on metro fare machines or that have less than a full dollar amount (example: 25 cents). We can not reimburse you for these because Metro will not reimburse us for them.
- Reimbursement checks will be prepared and disbursed within 21 working days from the date they are received at our office if funding is available. If funding is not available, checks will be held until they can be disbursed. Feel free to contact our office and inquire about this if you have any questions.
- Take care in sending your metrocheks to us in the mail. You may want to have them insured or certified. If metrocheks are lost in the mail, it is rare that the Post Office can find them. GWRideConnect cannot replace lost or stolen metrocheks. Metrocheks can be brought to our office during 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. We are located at 406 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
