Economic Development

The George Washington Regional Commission supports regional economic development efforts and works with the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance, local economic development agencies and others to provide critical data and support. The GWRC also hosts the staff of the Rappahannock Economic Development Corporation, and all ten GWRC commissioners serve as members of REDCO.
